Heavy rain and further landslides are causing new disruption across Nepal, damaging homes, roads and bridges and forcing families into emergency shelters.

Flash-flood warnings were issued across 49 of Nepal’s 77 districts, while nearly 700 trekkers were left waiting in Pokhara as dangerous conditions kept the Annapurna Circuit closed.

For families already recovering from devastating floods, this latest wave of severe weather is making an already difficult situation even harder.
