No matter where you end up, your first or last, just remember. Someone wanted you in their program. They found value in you as a candidate. And somewhere someone celebrated that you were on their list yesterday. You are not an imposter no matter where you match. #NextGenDocs
It’s my first day on my cardiology rotation and already I’ve walked 3 miles and climbed 12 flights of stairs. I mean our list is long... but really it’s because I’ve gotten lost 8 separate times today 😅. #JPSisamaze#directionallychallenged
After a long tiring day I was skimming my email while brushing my teeth... turns out I passed Step 3! 😊😊As always the imposter syndrome had me worried I wouldn’t pass. But I did! 🎉
About to go horseback riding in Palo Duro Canyon where helmets are optional. My mom asks me “what do you think? Should we wear a helmet?”
Me an EM Doc who as seen numerous TBIs “Yes of course. I don’t care that you’re the mom put on a helmet right this instant young lady.”
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but there is never an excuse to berate or snap at interns for honest mistakes. We know we need to be better - we beat ourselves up enough already. #MedTwitter
