A puppy mill being run out of a massive homeless encampment in Los Angeles, California

One of the dogs is on her 4th litter and the homeless person sells the puppies for $45 to $100. Cats are also being exploited

Everyone at the encampment has their own TVs and their own generators, this is a sophisticated operation

“Holy cow. Might be one of the worst homeless encampments I've ever seen. Unbelievable. And all this can be seen clearly from the road. I am actually more scared here than I've ever been on Skid Row”

The homeless breeding dogs is an extremely common practice in Los Angeles county. The puppies are:

- Sold for money
- Sold for drugs
- Sold for sexual favors
- Used to settle drug debt
- Used to test their drugs on before using to determine if they are safe
