@synredae@oxbits@KaoticSocialist Hi there, American living in Europe here. I just bought an apartment to live in because it is more cost effective than renting since the damned capitalists are mass buying the apartment buildings here in order to jack up rent even more.
@mcsquared34 Been thinking about this for a couple months. My proposal: each citizen is entitled to own 2 properties that are zoned for living. 1 for their own living & 1 for investment. And in order to own both, the person must me LIVING IN THE COUNTRY. No rich foreigners allowed to buy!
@_GEN_STRIKE_#Capitalism caused man-made climate change. To think that capitalism can solve the #ClimateCrisis is like thinking that smoking more cigarettes will cure your lung cancer.
@fluidcreativiy Not just the US... the UK still worships Winston Churchill and their monstrous monarchy 🙄
Ironically, Germany is the one who outlawed any kind of reverence of their hideous history/leaders. They teach it to their kids and acknowledge that it is bad. Crazy idea, right?
@LeftistCEO Ha! Down. As in down in the ground. Deep. That's where you might be safe. The entire surface of the planet will be uninhabitable by 2100 at the rate we are going at "combating" climate change.
I just hope the survivors tell humans in the future that is was capitalism that did it
@HumanistReport This is why I've stayed subbed to you since 2015. You are intelligent enough to own your mistakes, big and small, and not act like a child when people call you out on them. You're one of the good ones, Mike.

@DavidDJones17 @Whatapityonyou@thegoodgodabove Maybe we are lucky and they are monitoring social media to find the humans like us who are smart/enlightened enough to join their Galactic Republic... oh God I just explained most religions 😅
Exactly 50 years ago today, Senator Mike Gravel read the Pentagon Papers into the Congressional Record in order to make them public. As he read, his sadness at the fact that U.S. government lies had killed so many innocent people led him to start openly weeping.
@farsazadi I always hated him since my beginnings as a redneck conservative to my present Marxist-self. Never understood how anyone could see him in a good light.
