Find me on Bluesky.
Makes games at night while suffering through day job. Latest releases are Hidden Kitty and Pilot Express on mobile. Doodlin' with Godot.
I wanted to avoid inconsistencies with Adelaide's rifle, so all the logic is coded like the actual gun should behave.
It knows when there's a chambered round, when to eject a shell, when she should do the spinny cycle, and so on. Pretty neat!
More glass shattering adventures #screenshotsaturday
I went with a less flashy method that performs better. I am tempted to try using a compute shader to make the previous one viable. Then again I should get to some actual gameplay and this has already been an insane ordeal.
#Inktober Day 30 - Violin
Mr. Abernathy, once a celebrated concert violinist, drifts through the halls of his manor each night, his ghostly melodies haunting the air. Ms. Abernathy, who poisoned him years ago, now grits her teeth as his endless playing drives her slowly mad.
One more drawing to go. I'm still sick and it's been hard to get out of bed for these but I will push through, dammit!

I let the diver jump and swim some more to try another audio track. The more audio styles I explore, the more I realize how many options there are for different scenarios.
How do you test audio in your game?

@nimsodev Considering the time spent both outside and under the water, if you wanted to go all-out, a composer could make similar tracks (same bpm, etc), one of them being more magical (think Donkey Kong aquatic ambience) and fade between them as the diver goes under and above water. :)
@protopop I don't even care anymore what happens on here. Engagement has dropped so low. The platform claims to be all about free speech, in which case it shouldn't get its knickers in a twist to begin with. :)
