A woman talked about the reason why she cancelled her upcoming wedding and people are calling her stupid and insensitive.

She said she was sick with malaria and she was with her fiancee, he told her to go home, so her mum will take care because he can't take care of a sick person.
So she went home, but she decided that she wasn't going to go ahead with the wedding again.

i was on the bus when a guy started bothering a woman sitting near the window.
he leaned too close and said,
“smile. you’d look prettier if you smiled.”
she ignored him.
so he touched her arm and laughed,
“relax, i’m just being friendly.”
i stood up and asked him,
“do you like strangers touching you?”
he looked annoyed and said,
“no. that’s weird.”
so i said,
“exactly. then keep your hands to yourself.”
the whole bus went quiet.
he moved away.
she whispered thank you.
sometimes all it takes is one person to remind them that boundaries matter.

My daughter went to a sleepover last night and sent me this text at 3am, so obviously I picked her up. She was in bed asleep by 4am and it’s now almost 1p and homegirl is still sound asleep 💀
