Feeling unending despair as I continually see Destiny 2 posts like “this was a really good and fun feature I liked it a lot” and then seeing a dev comment something like “we actually had to sacrifice our children to management to get this in the game” over and over

Many people reached out. I'm still at Bungie and I take no pride or relief in that statement. So many talented people were laid off this week and it genuinely hurts to see all these lives impacted. The Bungie I fell in love with was built by those people. That loss is real.

So basically Sony shut Destiny 2 down because they felt threatened by its overwhelming presence, and they obviously can’t make new successful live services if Destiny 2 is still in the picture…

If your pissed about the abrupt end of Destiny 2 as I am, you haven't seen anything yet.
We're gonna get non stop stories from the now fired devs about all the awesome stuff they wanted to do and the management and c-suite said 'No'
Stories, loot, game mechanics, all of it
