#1. From Zero- Linkin Park
This album means a lot to me as a fan of the band since the age of 4. And since having Chester and Mike tatted on my body, I never thought I’d experience a new LP album in my life.
Top 3 songs:
🥇Two Faced
🥈Heavy Is The Crown
🥉Overflow
It has once again been a full year since I’ve tweeted anything and for the few of you that care this can only mean ONE thing! My annual top 5 albums of the year! 🧵
#2. a piece of me i never let you find.- Cane Hill
There’s something about this album that scratches a particular itch in my brain. Sonically, this feels like one of the tightest made albums within the genre!
Top 3 songs:
🥇The Midnight Sun
🥈Drowning Therapy
🥉Fade (Into You)

#5. Descent- Orbit Culture
My first time ever hearing Orbit Culture was with this album gripping me by the neck demanding it’s attention from me. Sweden never seems to disappoint with heavy metal & this band is no exception!
Top 3 songs:
Alienated
Vultures of North
Sorrower
Haven’t tweeted in a full year so you know what time it must be! It’s time for my annual top 5 albums of the year thread for the 2 people that maybe care about this 🤣 (🧵)
#4. Not Without My Ghosts- The Amity Affliction
TAA brought back the heaviness while not sacrificing the ear worm catchiness that they so easily mix together! They continue to impress me with every new album!
Top 3 songs:
I See Dead People
Fade Away
Show Me Your God
#5. True Power- I Prevail
It’s clear why IP is at the forefront of hard rock. With Eric’s screeching howls, Brian’s meandering flow, and the band’s electronica fusion, this album not only hits hard but also consoles those in need.
Top 3 songs:
Self-Destruction
Body Bag
Choke
#4. the classic symptoms of a broken spirit- Architects
Architects continue to evolve, now to an industrial sound. The Brighton band have given us arena chanting songs, & finally, a “BLEGH” after a 4 year drought.
Top 3 songs:
when we were young
a new moral low ground
tear gas
