Before he directed John Wick, Chad Stahelski played a massive, bittersweet role in bringing The Crow (1994) to the big screen.
A lot of people ask: Was he Brandon Lee’s stunt double, or did he fill in after Lee’s tragic passing?
The answer is both.
Before the tragedy: Stahelski and Brandon Lee were close friends who trained together at the Inosanto Academy of Martial Arts. Because of their friendship and similar builds, Stahelski did some initial stunt work on the film.
Finishing the film: After Lee’s devastating on-set accident, the production team needed to complete the movie to honor his legacy. They brought Stahelski back as the primary body double because he already knew exactly how Lee walked, talked, and fought.
Using pioneering digital technology, special effects artists superimposed Brandon Lee’s face onto Stahelski’s body to finish the remaining critical scenes.
It’s an incredible piece of cinema history—a friend stepping in to help finish his late friend’s masterpiece. 🖤

Headline: Traditional Faith over Vatican Politics
I’m sticking to gaming, but as a cradle catholic when I see deep institutional drift in something I believe in, I’m going to use my platform to bring some needed clarity.
Ever since his election last year, Pope Leo XIV was supposed to get the Vatican structurally and economically on point. Instead, his focus has drifted heavily into secular globalist politics—perfectly highlighted by his brand new encyclical Magnifica Humanitas (May 2026), where the Vatican is suddenly trying to act as the moral regulator for Silicon Valley and global AI infrastructure. 
More importantly, the current administration’s aggressive anti-war, anti-nationalist rhetoric is actively running counter to centuries of established Roman Catholic dogma:
1 The Council of Trent (Roman Catechism, 1566): Explicitly states that magistrates and civil authorities do NOT sin when they wage a just war to protect the innocent and defend their nation against violent aggressors.
2 Just War Doctrine (CCC 2309): Dogmatically guarantees a sovereign country’s moral right to rigorous self-defense if its people face grave and certain danger.
True Catholicism has a rich history of defending its borders, its faith, and its people through strength—just look at historic figures like Vlad the Impaler who aligned with Rome to defend the Christian world. When the Vatican starts prioritizing progressive, modern-day socio-political agendas over core doctrinal truths and internal structural cleanup, true Catholics have a responsibility to speak up.
I’m standing with traditional truth. Back to gaming.
