Οι περιστάσεις λογικά δεν αφησαν την Insomniac να προχωρήσει σε ένα Resistance 4. Πιθανότατα η προτεραιότητα στο Spiderman και γενικα τα IP της Marvel. Κρίμα, λατρεψα τη τριλογία οταν βγήκε.

Η Sony προσπαθει τοσο καιρό να έχει ενα FPS της προκοπής και επενδύει σε λαθος άλογο(βλ. Concord). Εχεις ένα established IP. Βγαλε ενα καλό Single Player και δώσε ενα δυνατό multi που μπορείς μετά να το κάνεις οτι θέλεις.

"Resistance 4, we did pitch that one. It was a wonderful concept, in terms of timing and market opportunity it didn’t work out."

"It was the result a lot of Insomniac team members being passionate about extending the story further because I do believe that Resistance set up a really cool alternate history base where anything can happen with the Chimera, where they go and what their origins are. We spent a lot of time working on backstory and brainstorming on where we could take this in the future."

"Personally I love this franchise, I was fortunate enough to be creative director on the first two Resistances and I will remember many, many moments good and bad viscerally. We love the fan response we know that fans ask regularly if we’re going to do another Resistance, there is no answer to that, but I will say we pitched Resistance 4 and it was pretty cool."
