@SKinnock That IS a disingenuous claim, because you represent a Welsh constituency and that doesn’t apply in Wales. While health policy is devolved, there’s no justification for Wales having lower Health *standards* from the rest of the UK
Wales doesn’t even have Louise’s law!
@MeshUKCT
The existing Limitation Act incentivises clinicians and Health Boards to prevent patients from getting truthful information about their experiences. The UK needs new legislation making it an absolute offence to record or give patients information that is inaccurate. @MeshUKCT
This is equally important in Wales - quite possibly more so. Why does @PrifWeinidog not realise that patient safety and protection matters in Wales as much as it does elsewhere?
@MeshUKCT
Clever, @GWRHelp? The 15:48 PAD-SWA was diverted via Bath due to a claimed landslip but at BPW the subsequent train seems to have come the normal route and has already left for Newport. Now I, as a disabled person, will have to struggle the length of 10 carriages on arrival.
What is described here is exactly what has happened to so many victims of illegal mesh implants. Health Boards ignore the facts. Governments hold their noses and look the other way. This must be stopped. @MeshTrust
@VIBUK_Official@ake2306 If only he would express similar concern in respect of people harmed by surgical mesh implants - which on so many occasions was done without the patient’s informed consent - but whom @wesstreeting appears not to want to discuss.
@MeshUKCT
@JoannaM__@DrHFRyan@wesstreeting However bad things are where you are, @JoannaM__ they are far worse in Wales. We need a single set of Patient Safety Standards for the entire UK.
@DianeCampb58068@bbchealth The UK needs an independent National Patient Safety Commission to investigate and hold Health Service managers to account. If this government won’t set one up, patients may need to set it up themselves.
So far @wesstreeting seems resistant to any engagement
@MeshUKCT@SDoughtyMP
@wesstreeting@DrHFRyan And I would have responded -
“If we need to work together we first need to talk together. Why do you allow your “officials” to stop you listening to people who can - and want to - help … and who have the information that would make the task so much easier?
@SDoughtyMP@MeshUKCT

❌462 patients harmed
❌ Dismissed from two hospitals
And only given a 6 month suspension of his licence by the MPTS tribunal disgraceful @wesstreeting@PSCommissioner@ashishskynews@gmcuk
Don’t even bother patronising me south wales police - I will never ever trust you again and one thing for sure when you sat in that meeting with me in 2019 - you watched me sob you had no evidence from professionals yet took sides - you wonder why vulnerable families speak up on twitter because you lot do nothing but stand up for bullies - you lied told my partner you was taking things seriously- yet you send a officer to intimidate me over my post over a health board that fabricated reports - I grew up thinking if anyone could help would be the police well I was lied to you the lA and health boards in wales are nothing but bullies who protect each other - I was never a problem never had nothing to do with the police it was the bullies that cause that - shame on the lot of you
@redpepper1011 Hi Reann, we're really sorry to hear this, and a control room colleague will be more than happy to hear your concerns - including about the way you were treated by the police - if you do wish to get in touch with us via those channels. Thank you, and take care, SWP.
@MeshUKCT@RDG_C@swpolice@CwmTafMorgannwg It’s because they discriminate against disabled children then when parents speak up they ruin our lives I’m shocked I went to the police regarding online bullying and they ended up intimidating me over the health board .. us families are cruelly treated 😓
