Tonight at Gillette Stadium, Zach Bryan, one of the biggest country music artists in the world, wore a Free Palestine shirt onstage.
Gillette Stadium is owned by Robert Kraft, who pushed Ed Sheeran and his promoter to drop Macklemore from his tour.
Bryan isn’t just a major country artist.
He is one of the biggest live draws in music, filling stadiums across the United States and in major cities around the world.
Bryan served eight years on active duty in the US Navy and served overseas in Bahrain and Djibouti.
Members of Bryan’s band also wore shirts supporting the Palestinian cause, including his drummer, who wore a jersey honoring the memory of Hind Rajab.
Zach Bryan has a second show at Gillette Stadium tomorrow, Saturday night.
An X user posted this photo today, on the first day of school in Iran, with a caption that said: if history books ever need just one image to explain the collapse of the Islamic Republic’s mandatory hijab law, it should be this one.
Mothers who rose up against mandatory hijab—and who continue to resist it through acts of civil disobedience—are taking their daughters to school.
The mothers are unveiled. Their daughters are still being forced to wear the hijab under the very law these women have spent years challenging.
The Islamic Republic still refuses to accept that it has lost this battle. It continues to enforce a law that Iranian women have already rejected in practice.
But this image tells another story: there is no going back.

Wow. Farah Pahlavi says in no unclear terms that she opposes foreign military intervention on Iran
That puts her at complete odds with her son Reza Pahlavi, who has been one of the loudest voices demanding Trump and Netanyahu bomb his homeland
What happened to me is bigger than one artist or one stage. When the billionaire class can decide which voices are allowed on stage and which ones are too dangerous to hear, everyone should be paying attention.
So we're going on tour. All proceeds will benefit organizations supporting the Palestinian people and movement.

Just imagine for a moment if the Iranian president stood up at the UN, imagine if Ahmadinejad had come to the UNGA, and said: “Do I annihilate the Jewish state, and do it quickly? Do I drive Israel into hell?”
Imagine the Western and global and media response and outcry.
Iranians never learn. They keep trading one dictatorship for another. It’s the 21st century & they still want to replace a theocratic tyranny with an absolute monarchy.
“Ed Sheeran has been a long standing supporter of Ukraine. Say what you want about Ed but he’s always been a passionate advocate of causes that are allowed.”
holy fucking shit.
Sheeran understood the Ukraine/Russia so quickly he did a Ukraine benefit concert with one month. 3 years after israel's genocide of Palestinians Sheeran's teleprompter says he still doesn't understand what's happening.
He's a liar.
Hasan Piker: “Macklemore literally said: I’m not the victim, the Palestinians are. Ed Sheeran looked at that and said: I’m the real victim. He’s like you know who’s been hurt the most in all of this? Me. The sacred bond that I had with my fanbase was violated viciously”
