I told the professionals attending the Bucharest Cybersecurity Conference: “You are not in the cybersecurity business. You are in the freedom security business.” Every individual decision they make either expands freedom or shrinks it.

Romania and Ukraine understand what’s at stake in the contest between freedom and tyranny. The Bucharest Declaration on Trusted Tech Caucus Cooperation they signed—aligned with the Global Trusted Tech Standard (xGTT)—is how democracies turn shared values into collective strength.

[Krach Institute for Tech Diplomacy at Purdue @TechDiplomacy]

Proud to bring together the Romanian and Ukrainian Parliamentary Trusted Tech Caucuses. We welcome the BUCHAREST DECLARATION ON TRUSTED TECH CAUCUS COOPERATION, which lays the groundwork for digital policy collaboration in alignment with the Global Trusted Tech Standard (xGTT).

Breaking: "As retired senior military leaders and legal experts, on this, the third anniversary of Hamas's October 7, 2023 brutal attack on Israel, we reject claims that Israel committed genocide in Gaza." @jinsadc

I am honored to be a part of 76 retired U.S. officers (including 13 Generals, 27 Lieutenant Generals, 19 Major Generals, 5 Brigadier Generals) Refuting the Genocide Allegation Against Israel.

"The precedent established today regarding Israel will shape the conditions under which American forces fight tomorrow. Protecting civilians and preserving the ability of our nation to defend itself requires us to defend the truth when the laws of war are being distorted to make false charges of genocide."

The useful idiots mentioned by @RobertKennedyJr, using Israel/Jew-hatred as a fig leaf for their America-hatred.

[Len Khodorkovsky @MessageFromLen]

The Jewish people have deep scars from centuries of persecution. Some of us experienced it directly. So when thousands of Palestinian terrorists poured from Gaza into Israel on October 7, 2023, it tore those wounds wide open in every single Jewish person (at least with their head on straight).

In a matter of hours, a Hamas-led army of savages massacred 1,200+ people—babies, old people (including Holocaust survivors), young men and women at a music festival—burning down homes with families trapped inside, blowing up packed bomb shelters, beheading, raping, mutilating, and machine-gunning everyone on sight (even shooting dogs). Then, these monsters dragged 250 hostages back into Gaza.

Today, we remember the victims of October 7. May their memories be a blessing and may the State of Israel and the Jewish people everywhere be forever strong.

Thanks to @microsoft for hosting a gathering to discuss the human layer of the AI stack. The Global Trusted Tech Standard (xGTT) from the Krach Institute for @TechDiplomacy at Purdue can help the free world embed trust into technology, putting our democratic values into practice.

[Len Khodorkovsky @MessageFromLen]

Inspiring conversation with @UDTFerchuk, Ukraine’s Minister of Digital Transformation, at the BIG BANG KI FESTIVAL in Berlin. We discussed how Ukraine is becoming an innovation sandbox for democratic allies and deepening integration with the world’s trusted tech ecosystem.

[Len Khodorkovsky @MessageFromLen]

America’s founders bet on freedom. It turned out to be a winning bet for 250 years. That’s our superpower. We should double down on freedom through trusted technology.

Great interview with the Krach Institute for @TechDiplomacy at Purdue Chairman @KeithJKrach on @iLeadersSummit America’s Roundtable ⬇️

[Keith J. Krach @KeithJKrach]

Thank you @iLeadersSummit, @NatashaSrdoc and @JoelAnandUSA for the thoughtful conversation.
America’s 250th is an opportunity not only to celebrate our history, but to look forward to the principles that will keep America strong: freedom, trust, innovation and courageous leadership.

Boris and I came to America together. He was 10. I was 11.

He loved computers and turned that passion into a great career.

25 years ago, on September 11, 2001, Boris was a young father sitting at his desk at Marsh McLennan in the World Trade Center. He was 30.

He will always be 30.

Data centers require electricians, pipefitters, high-voltage crews. The US needs another 500,000 electricians alone to support the buildout. That’s why AI companies are pouring millions into apprenticeships. I write about this in @FoxNewsOpinion: https://t.co/UNV3S0RsOf

[a16z @a16z]

The AI buildout is printing electrician and HVAC jobs

Goldman attributes 300k+ construction jobs to it since 2022, ~75k in the past year

These trades are growing ~2% a year, roughly double construction overall

Whether obtained legally or not, NVIDIA chips, our IP, and distilled AI models end up serving the People’s Liberation Army. Are we OK with American AI fueling China’s military?

At least one of the groups (Satmar) represented at this jovial meeting is openly anti-Zionist and most of the others are either critical of Israel or unsupportive.

Frankly, the only political value of this photo op with stereotypically Jewish Jews isn’t 2028 votes (these orgs don’t have enough to matter) but to kosher one’s Israel views.

Note, Mamdani is using a similar strategy.

[Yoram Hazony @yhazony]

VP Vance’s photo op with Hasidic leaders was timed to coincide with his troubling comments about his friendship with Tucker Carlson. This is all political theatre and its purpose is to win in 2028. You may not like it but it’s better than having the Democrats back in charge.

[Dave Stilwell @stilwell_dave]

I wonder how the CCP is going to deal with a system that doesn’t fear punishment? Humans can be cowed into silence, but to be useful, AI demands access to everything and the ability to speak freely. Q: “How to solve Taiwan?” A: “PRC must democratize.” 😬

[Len Khodorkovsky @MessageFromLen]

Beijing is building AI “with Chinese characteristics.” Engineers in the free world, who’ve benefited from democracy, have a responsibility beyond making AI more capable and build it with the characteristics of a free society.
