The Department of Electricity and Energy, in partnership with the Black Energy Professionals Association (BEPA), hosts the 3rd Annual Women in Energy Ministerial Engagement.

The platform is dedicated to driving the discussion on the inclusion of women, youth, and black professionals across the entire energy value chain.
Aligned with the 2026 National Women’s Month theme, “Building Resilient Economies for All,” this year’s event reaffirms the Department’s long-term resolve to ensure that South Africa’s energy transition is not only technically robust but fundamentally equitable and inclusive.
