Do you notice it’s almost always those who are high up in the org chart who says things like this? If it’s so noble cut your own paychecks and live like your workers! No? Then stfu about your vocational awe rhetoric bullshit.
Figuring out your personal style, being thoughtful and considerate about your clothing purchases, and rewearing and being creative with the things you already own is going to lead you to a more sustainable wardrobe. That's the path, and it's free to walk down!

@QueenOfRats Maybe already on your radar, but Gods of Shade and Shadow by Silvia Moreno-Garcia is just great. It's kind of like a Cinderella story, only a Mayan death god is both the fairy godmother and the prince. It's also set in 1920s Mexico, which makes for the most luminous scene setting
