Yesterday’s SBC DAO Workshop 2026 at Stanford's theme was “Farewell, but not goodbye.”

Description: "DAOs are going through a winter: declining interest and enthusiasm as crypto prices waver and the frictions of existing DAO governance. Large DAO tooling companies like Tally folding; promising new experiments like Hats not finding traction.

On the other hand, many of the flagship DAOs are doing just fine. By certain counts, more companies are organizing assets on-chain than ever. Governance is changing; the era of the anything-goes forum is waning. And as with every other industry, the specter and opportunity of AI looms over it all..."
