Sad to hear of the passing of @metalchurchis1 vocalist Mike Howe. I was lucky enough to have seen and met him when they played Oddbody's in Dayton in Sept. '16. I was blown away by his energy and how incredibly polite he was! Check out the video below I shot at the concert.

I remember picking this up because I was a fan of Sacred Rite, Vyper, & @kingdiamond, which were affiliated with Greenworld Records. Though not as heavy, it was a SOLID 6-song EP. The family names Sarzo & Cavazo didn't hurt. Kelly would go on to @ForeignerMusic. @SarzoRobert

I bought this book specifically for my flight. I wish it would have been longer! 76 pages in I didn't want to put this down! I remember Witchkiller, @Slayer, & Obsession were my first purchases. This book brought back that feeling! @brianslagel, thank you for the memories! 🤘🤘

I first heard this gem in the mid-80's on 97X WOXY's #MassiveMetalForTheMasses. It sounds just as good today. The title track, "Overdrive," & "Heavier Than Hell." Damn, this has aged well! Some awesome Chicago area metal that should have gotten more respect nationally.

I often feel like the only fan that knows that @GreatWhiteRocks' first full-length album was their finest moment. I never tire of listening to this masterpiece. It was melodic, brash, early LA hard rock that kicked the fucking ass off the nondescript blues band they would become.

I always felt that @kingdiamond's debut solo slab was more of a proper third @MercyfulFate_HQ album than, "In The Shadows." Granted, 3/5 of the classic lineup is here but still, "Halloween," "Charon," "The Portrait," & "Dressed In White" could all pass as pure Fate. #NowPlaying

Sure, this album has plenty of #WTF moments but Jim Gillette & Michael Angelo Batio forged one of the most innovative (and yes Out-Fucking-Rageous) hard rock albums of all-time with Nitro's #OFR. It's impressive as hell once you accept that they weren't trying to be @MotleyCrue.

Been a while since I've visited this monster masterpiece. The first @myMotorhead album to capture what would become the true #Motorhead sound. "Overkill," "Stay Clean," and "No Class" are the obvious winners but one of my fav's has always been "Capricorn." Put this one on repeat.

Listening to this awesome east coast three-piece whose debut "Why Play Around?" was pure rage. "Wasteland" & "Revenge" are worth the price alone but "Bullets & Blades" is a slammer too. Loved this back in '88 when it came out and it still kicks ass today! #Wargasm @RichSpillberg

Having a slab of #Samson's #Survivors for breakfast. I've always felt this pre-Dickinson (or Bruce Bruce) piece had a few glimpses of music genius, most notably the outstanding "Tomorrow Or Yesterday" and the @TheDoors-esque "Inside Out." Goes good with coffee... @IronMaiden
