@luxemiaa This an incredibly odd take, and sounds like you're passing a judgement without knowing full information. It's not at all weird to pack a bag to visit with the noncustodial parent. You have no clue what their space looks like at their father's house, they may have their own room
I’m worried about you Maple, you are exhibiting psychological patterns where avoiding reality is a coping mechanism. You have some sort of alethophobia, fear of the truth, a cognitive dissonance, where accepting a truth causes mental discomfort or threatens your core identity.
Deep down, the brain sometimes perceives honesty or facing the truth as a threat to social connection and belonging. If a truth threatens a relationship, it feels like losing safety.
Admitting you were wrong or made a mistake can feel psychologically shattering, leading defense mechanisms to alter your perception of reality to keep you safe.
You’re like someone who got vaccinated but can’t admit the vaccines are bad because it’s already in your blood stream, or a parent who helped their kid cut off their genitals, you can’t live with yourself knowing it’s wrong so you delude yourself into thinking it’s okay. That’s what your doing with Core, your so scared of us being right you’ve entrenched yourself into this psychosis that Luke and Knots are actually the psyop when literally nothing logical points to that and all of the facts point to the opposite.
It is often easier to stick with a false narrative you have already invested in than to overhaul your worldview or face a difficult reality.
You need to understand that, logically, knowing an unpleasant truth is almost always better in the long run than living in denial. Acknowledge that the fear of the truth is deeply wired into our nervous system, and be kind to yourself as you work to unlearn it.
If this fear is impacting your relationships or mental well-being, exploring this with a mental health professional can provide safe ways to confront uncomfortable realities.
@MotherJones Yea, I would say you should probably be careful with states coming together to circumvent the constitution instead of going through the established ammendment process.
The electoral college is controversial but it does serve a valuable purpose: prevention of tyranny of the many.
