@uniformcritic And I even forgot Murray 504 HR batting 5th. Certainly best lineup in my lifetime. Lofton second after Henderson for leadoff during this era, yes? In 1995, you put Albert/Joey Belle in 4th position no questions asked.
@JoelKatz We must recognize when the question is bad/wrong/not appropriate. Are the people forcing the decision 'rational'? Here's another example of a bad question. Does your wife know that you are an alien? You are forced to answer YES or NO.
@EleanorTerrett Please dont let the actions of a small minority overtake the majority of your thoughts. People of all ages throughout all ages have done horrific acts. It just shows how bad they feel about themselves and how hurt they are to think that these are the actions that should be taken.
So the SEC finally admits that 1/ "crypto asset security" is a made up term and 2/ to prove a "crypto asset security" is an investment contract, the SEC needs evidence of a bundle of "contracts, expectations, and understandings"?
Think it's time for @SECgov to admit it has become a twisted pretzel of contradictions. Don't worry, I updated your logo for you
"The SEC regrets any confusion it may have invited" by falsely and repeatedly stating that tokens themselves are securities. This is the remarkable representation in Footnote 6 of @SECGov's Amended Complaint against Binance. I hope @s_alderoty is getting some good sleep tonight. His head's about to explode when he wakes up and see this.
@Leerzeit Interesting way of putting it. Thinking in terms of good person vs bad person is in a sense degrading to love as it doesn't judge that way. Thinking in terms of a soul leads to individualism and not the recognition that we are all pieces of the same puzzle.
@Leerzeit@Marc_Fagel And finally the SEC can comment on the case, right? Including Director of Enforcement Grewal who responded in a hearing on 7/19/22 with:
@Marc_Fagel@Leerzeit Seems to me this hits all 3 of the mission...
The SEC’s long-standing three-part mission—to protect investors, maintain fair, orderly, and efficient markets, and facilitate capital formation—remains its touchstone
@Marc_Fagel@Leerzeit For a govt agency that is all about disclosures, what would be the proper disclosure for this decision, arguably the most important one the SEC has done in regards to crypto? Shouldn't there be a full explanation to the market so that we are not left assuming the SEC motives?
