We've been grinding under construction and have some exciting developments needed to complete the launch of our new cross-platform, un-platformer!
It's important that all of you get to work with a future-proof toolkit, so we've pushed forward and integrated UGS (Unity Gaming Services) into our core platform and SDK, and are preparing to tell Photon Engine to kick-rocks 🪨
We've also successfully implemented some of the most advanced VR/XR that can done on the Unity 6 platform, and super-excited to let all of you play with it!

Over the last month or so, MetaDyn has been putting a lot of planning and work into the foundations for portable identity, portable assets, and a more open accessible immersive web - and we're excited to give a preview into what we've been cooking on Dev!
We’re building in public, with an open-source SDK, and working toward what we think of as un-platforming the platform — reducing dependence on any single closed system and giving users, creators, and developers more continuity and control.
A few important parts of that effort include:
- Supporting linked accounts, wallet-only access, and standard account login
- Building identity in a way that is not solely dependent on a single platform
- Supporting custom IPFS-based assets and locally utilized assets
- Helping users move more seamlessly across experiences built with Unity, Hyperfy, Three.js Gaussian Splats, and 360 VR video
- Supporting multiple avatar SDKs and networking approaches including Photon, Unity Gaming Services, and custom WebSocket-based solutions
- Developing a new Chrome extension and bridge approach, similar in spirit to Lighthouse, to help users see where friends are, discover connected experiences, and join each other more naturally no matter what "Platform" they are currently in
A big part of this direction has been inspired by your feedback on our Platform Capability Survey — so thank you again to everyone who took the time to participate. That input has been genuinely valuable in helping shape where this is going.
At MetaDyn, the core vision in the aspect of a Metaverse Platform is making sure identity, access, presence, and digital ownership are not trapped inside isolated platforms - providing creators, studios, and the enterprise each a choice is better than making it for them.
And you should be able to take that with you, all the way to the bank.
