@kahatfield The last time Stu & I were together at our house in Maine, we rented a Ford Expedition (Stu wasn't familiar with the model, and didn't realize how huge it would be). Clearing the windshield of frost was a major adventure. We're both used to much smaller vehicles.

@wxkev For a long time I had visions of WSR-88D radars "seeing" a tornado signature (via algorithm, of course), then realizing that the future storm track passed over the radar site...and running away (using tower legs as, well, legs).

@fcst70 So-forgive me if I'm stating the obvious, but it appears that it's part of Google's high-def 3D imagery-and the "ghost" boats moved between images. Stationary boats in the harbor are rendered in amazing (to me, at least) 3D. I see that future-home Ellsworth isn't in full 3D. ☹️

@Geostrophic Very sorry to hear about this. Like other commenters, I also lost my father recently (January), after several years of increasingly problematic dementia. My mom passed away two years earlier, rather suddenly, from advanced breast cancer and other complications. I can empathize.
