Methodist colony is worried about flooding as it is just adjacent to the area. Storm surge, even normal rainfall and back waters from Hussain Sagar can cause serious flooding of the peaceful colony. Concerned authorities are requested to visit the area and take necessary action

On one side @Comm_HYDRAA is uncovering old nalas to prevent flooding and here an existing storm water drain leading to Tankbund is being converted to a closed drain pipeline.

@HMWSSBOnline @GHMCOnline what happens during excessive flood years? Will this small pipeline handle the heavy flows or are you creating another potential flood area? Is this an approved work?

@Comm_HYDRAA satellite images clearly shows there was a water body within this location now it seems to have been covered up. Pls look into the same asap.

Summary of violations:
1. @TelanganaFD there were huge number of trees on this site
2. Storm water drain being enclosed into a pipeline
3. Water body filled in with soil

@PrlsecyMAUD Potential flooding seems inevitable because of this unplanned work. This needs immediate intervention to avoid flooding.
