After this, White goes for Q×b7#, so checkmate is inevitable.

However, this becomes a mate in 3 then.

Only options for Black are moving Queen along the diagonal or Rook from a7.
Kh8 prevents any checks (Kf8 can come with Q×f3+; while Kg8 can come with Qd5+).

If Black moves Rook, then Q×b7#
If Black moves Queen, then Qc8#

@charlesarthur I wasn’t using “disingenuous” in the sense of deception.
I meant it in the sense of feigning ignorance for sarcasm - pretending not to know how things like PET scans or nuclear power work in order to mock anti-Einstein conspiracy thinking.

He's highlighting that scientific advancements gave mankind the ability to overcome certain barriers.
