@tkland1 There are passing tracks between Redwood City and Menlo Park as well as a pocket track at Millbrae going north. Plus with dual signaling they can pass on the opposite tracks in many locations.

523 regularly catches up to the local before it and is usually late getting to SF. Hold the local at Bayshore and allow the express to pass!

Hey @Caltrain, when an express train begins to catch up to a delayed local, you MUST put the local on a side track at the earliest opportunity and allow the express to pass. You spent millions on passing tracks yet you never use them.
