Am I the only one that thinks trading for Freddy Peralta seems a bit pointless at this point?

Giving up any serious assets for a guy with an expiring deal when you’re light years away from a team in your own league feels irresponsible at this point.

I’m just not sure that any moves out there at this point can make this team viable contenders for 2026, may as well give the young guns extended runs and see what you have

For eveyone trying to make themselves feel better and wanting to argue with me about my Pete Alonso Tweet, The Pete Alonso slander never makes sense? Since 2019 he’s stacked 264 homers and over 700 RBIs with multiple 30 plus homer seasons and back to back 162 game seasons!

Just last Year when everyone was Thinking Vientos could be his replacement of the future.......the man hit .272 with 38 bombs 126 RBIs and an .871 OPS. That’s elite production and elite durability. He is already the Mets all time home run leader, third in franchise RBIs and third in slugging percentage.

Stop acting like this is replaceable. Argue with ya momma!
