Regarding this, I wanted to clarify a few things because I believe @kurusee may not the full picture.
Yes, I work in a political position, as you mentioned. However, at no point did I threaten anyone by using my position or influence. This matter is entirely personal and has nothing to do with my job.
In my free time, I work as a photographer. Around six months ago, I covered an event for the NGO ( Bridging the Community) @Bc_Maldives where Ibrahim Mohamed is the CEO. I completed the work, delivered all the photos, and sent my invoice six months ago.
Despite repeatedly following up with both him and his staff over the past several months, I did not received payment. Each time I contacted them, neither he nor his staff took responsibility or could clearly tell me who was responsible for settling the invoice.
I do not believe it is my responsibility if the NGO has internal communication issues or lacks proper funding. As the CEO, I simply told him that he should take responsibility for ensuring payment is made. I also informed him that if I continued to be ignored, I would share my experience on social media and pursue to recover payment for the work I rightfully completed.
He cannot deny that I carried out the agreed work or that the photos were delivered.
I have retained all the screenshots of my conversations with him and his staff. If my intention had been to publicly shame him, I could have posted these messages long ago. Instead, I chose not to.
Unfortunately, despite this, he continues to spread half-truths and false allegations that unfairly damage my reputation.
Hence I'm forced to share these publicly as my image and reputation is at stake now
Whether someone is a political appointee or an ordinary citizen, everyone has the same right to seek payment for the work they have completed. That is all I was trying to do. This issue is purely about unpaid professional work and is in no way related to politics or my position at the Ministry of Fisheries and agriculture
How you dress doesn’t define you or give men the right to rape, abuse or harass us. Wat was the baby girls fault? What did she do or wear that the men raped her?? She was an innocent soul..
Why is the government and @PoliceMv still rotecting the rapists?
@MoGFSSmv u have failed on this badly. Why was the child rapists free who had previous rape cases logged since 2014.@ibusolih the rapists need to be punished and hanged till death #wewantjustice#istandagainstrape
We urge the public not to share any pictures, videos or posts of abused children on the social media. This has a detrimental effect on the children. We advise everyone to be more sensitive and not contribute to the revictimisation of victims.
