I love what I do, but sometimes the sacrifices behind the smile feel heavier than the wings that carry me. All I ask for is understanding, balance, and the chance to have a life beyond the schedule." ✈️💛
Bought an iPad A16 at Digimap Vermosa last Apr 25. Flagged a drained battery at unboxing but was told it’s "normal." Only used it for the first time tonight and it won't charge anymore. 🚩 help! @digimap_ph
Because sometimes, waiting means you’re okay.
And honestly? it’s better to be the one waiting than the one running out of time.
Always be thankful you’re on the waiting side, not the critical side.
As someone who’s always at the hospital, I’ve learned to have a different mindset when a doctor is late or suddenly called for an emergency.
Instead of getting irritated, I remind myself
Thank God I’m not the emergency they had to rush to.
But I always remember somewhere on the other side, a patient’s blood pressure suddenly dropped during dialysis, someone fainted before a procedure, someone needed immediate attention to be saved.
So instead of complaining, I choose gratitude.
Thank you that we’re just here waiting for a follow-up checkup.
Especially with my mama and papa's nephrologist , we usually arrive at 10:00 AM and sometimes she gets seen at 3:00 PM.
We were in Grade 6 when Ms. Figueras shared a lesson that has stayed with me through the years. She reminded us that it is a parent’s responsibility to provide education, clothing, shelter, and care.
Love from parents is meant to be freely given, without expecting repayment.
Love from children is meant to be freely returned, not because they must, but because they want to.
When a child chooses to care for their parents as they grow older, it should never come from guilt or debt. It should come from the same place those sacrifices came from love.
