Even if you've seen it as a child or seen a friend or family member go through it. You've probably said to yourself ill never be in that situation
#DomesticAbuse is complex. It can take so many forms. For some it can happen slowly and surely it lulls us into a false sense of security that these are good people.
It can take many so long to realise they've been manipulated, controlled, coerced, financially abused, sexually abused, gaslit.
A number will blame their mental health as the perpetrator will always use DARVO. It can take people years to realise and walk away.
