We marked last week with a forward looking conversation hosted by HH Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the UAE, and the First Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council.

HH along with Michael Miebach reaffirmed the synergy and joint commitment towards the goals of the #UAE national strategy and the Dubai #D33 economic agenda.

Great to reconnect with friends and partners shedding light on future proofing and re-architecting global #finance at the #CapitalMarketSummit2024.

My panel title was "Revolutionizing Finance: Innovations for an Enhanced Investor Experience and Capital Markets Transformation." Mustafa Alrawi moderated an excellent discussion on the imperative need for innovations that elevate the experience of investors and market participants. We debated the possibility of a financial #Superapp to transform user onboarding experiences, mitigate hedging risks, offer #cyber security solutions, and seamlessly manage portfolios. We also tackled how #FinTechInfusion is enhancing capital market experience and how #Web3 is empowering the future of transactions.

It was equally pleasant and enriching to discuss with the distinguished audience how @Mastercard is supporting governments across the UAE to leapfrog with a plethora of green shoots and ambitious partnerships.

Congratulations to Hamed Ali and the Dubai Financial Market team for demonstrating #Dubai's potential as a launchpad for scale-up, intra stock-exchange collaboration and cross-border product cooperation.

One of the best lines I heard was Hadi Badri's "..no business in Dubai is too big to scale".

Witnessing the assembly of the buglers, the thrill of skill, strategy, and raw horsepower, and the breathtaking sight of 4,000 drones lighting up the sky was a Saturday spectacular. #DubaiWorldCup was claimed by #LaurelRiver (USA), ridden by Tadhg O'Shea. As someone who had a couple of winning flutters, I deeply enjoyed seeing Dubai host the sport of kings for the 28th cycle in a row.
