If you ever get to earning $10k per month or $120k per year of stable income , you quality of life and decisions totally are no different to someone earning 50k per month, for the average person.
Now I’m not including oligarchy who buy planes and million dollar Maybachs. I’m talking about the average persons wealth. When you live in the house you always wanted. You drive the car you want. The new iPhone is an after thought. Holidays can be anywhere in the world. Spend the night in any hotel. After $10k per month, you stop auditing your every subscription. Your kids go to the Schools you want. You don’t look at the prices on a menu. You reach terminal velocity of life.
Now. You can get serious shocks to the system. (I had one with Covid 2021) . When you see how easily your nice life can come crumbling down coz of how fragile life is.
The truth is … the difference in quality of life between a person with $1million dollars and a person with $10million is a rounding error. Especially in Africa. Worse in Zimbabwe. I dare say a $500k net worth individual and a $10million worth individual can not be separated on class in Zimbabwe. There is NO different Restaurant that can separate them. A $120k a year man/woman can send their kids to Any SCHOOL& University in Africa. Probably the world.
Worse with tech now democratising “wealth”. You now can use the same phone and Apple Watch as the richest person in the country. You have access to th same Ai models?
That’s why we will need to shift from a “things” mindset to a “value” mindset. Coz things mean less and less daily.
Talks for coming to my Ted Talk.
To Anyone Who Finds Themselves Without a Job
I’ve been there. I lost my job twice—once early in my career when BHP Minerals closed, sending shockwaves across the country. At the time, I had nothing to my name except the wait for the next payday. The second time, I was in a senior role, but the company shut down again.
These experiences taught me a hard truth: you will never have true peace while working for someone else. Companies come and go, and so do jobs. If you find yourself unemployed, don’t wait for things to happen—take action. Friends may disappear, but don’t lose hope. Keep moving forward.

#GrazeOfTheYear2024
VAR - POST MATCH ANALYSIS 🧐 4/4
The just-concluded #GOTY24 was the toughest competition we've seen since the inception of #CookOffZW on @TeamFuloZim
We now have a new Champion, @leesah_zimbo , who has dethroned the Anti-Sadza President and the 2023 #GrazeOfTheYear2023 winner, the vivacious Dimpi @ngaapinde . Ironically, Dimpi, who entered a sadza dish as she did in the 2023 #GOTY, finished in fourth place this year.
In this collage, I've included Dimpi's fourth-placed entry.
We had some super-duper entries, and quite frankly, I was spoilt for choice. I particularly liked the rustic presentation by Onias Mhetu in Frame 1.
Now, let’s do a final analysis; where did it go wrong?
Please give your critique without fear or favor:
Example:
- Frame 5: The plating was too messy, which was a major turnoff for most voters.
- Frame 1: @MhetuOnias
- Frame 2: @phiniasmushayi
- Frame 3: @empress76479900
- Frame 4: @ngaapinde

@MurapaG@SirTitusVeTech Own house operate a business on the side at a low level, if possible get rentals. Then later you can leverage the house for another property or investment in business(not the best unless success is certain).
