It appears as the @GNCBLBaseball is back with two new teams:

Waterville Woodworkers and South Portland Puffins.

Lake Olmstead Stadium, the former home of the Augusta Green Jackets, has been turned into a Hurricane Helene debris site.

Affiliated baseball was last played here in 2017, it hosted Madison Baumgarner, Dustin Pedoria, Hanley Ramirez, and Pablo Sandoval, to name a few.

I still remember seeing Charlie Eshbach every game I went to as a kid. Dan Burke may have been the owner, but was Charlie formed the Sea Dogs into the success and pride of the city they are today.

@BaseballTravelr @sodpoodles @nwanaturals When there was such things as 3 and 4 game series, I saw the same time 3 times throughout the NY-Penn League. Batavia Muckdogs in College Station, West Virginia, and finally Batavia. I felt as we were one happy family by the end of the trip.

@scottfybush My “home” stadium. I can’t even count the number of nights I froze in this stadium back in 1994 during the Sea Dogs’ inaugural season. Since I only missed one game that season, I know is was A LOT!

When you’re driving to your hometown, why not stop and watch the hometown Portland Sea Dogs in Richmond.

I’ve driven past The Diamond a countless number of times, but this is my first visit.
