Every one of us is born of the soil, lives off the soil and will go back to soil Soil unifies us beyond all divisions & separations that we have created. To experience this consciously, Humanity must come together to #SaveSoil. Three years after we launched the Save Soil Movement, the world is slowly beginning to acknowledge that this is the first step towards creating a Conscious Planet. Only if we create a thriving ecology, can our economies thrive- not the other way around. Every citizen of every nation must pledge their support to Save Soil of their Nation. This is the way forward. Let’s make it happen for Humanity. -Sg @cpsavesoil@UNCCD@IUCN@UNEP

Thank you Hon’ble Prime Minister for your warm wishes. All should experience the grandeur of #Mahashivaratri, one of the most significant festivals of Bharat. Adiyogi’s contribution in the making of this Civilization & for the future of Humanity is such that Adiyogi shall not remain as a figure of the past but an inspiration for the future to seek wellbeing & transcendence, not from above but from within. The source of all human experience is within us & the solutions for all human problems and complexities are also within us. This is the fundamental of Adiyogi’s contribution & this shall naturally be the future of this world. Thank you very much once again. -Sg @narendramodi@PMOIndia
Excess salt is not good for humans or soil!
Soil salinity is silently destroying our agricultural lands. Every year, we lose more fertile soil to excess salt buildup, threatening global food security.
Over 14 billion hectares of land worldwide are affected by soil salinity, making it difficult to grow food. When soil becomes too salty, crops can't access water and nutrients, leading to reduced yields and barren lands. Supporting soil-conscious farming practices and proper land management is essential for our future food security.

When it comes to wellness and mental peace, @SadhguruJV is always among the most inspiring personalities. I urge all #ExamWarriors and even their parents and teachers to watch this ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ episode tomorrow, 15th February.
If we start now, in 15-20 years, there will be a significant turnaround. But let's say we wait for another 25-50 years, and then try to turn it around, they say it may take up to 200 years. And that period is going to be disastrous for human beings. #SaveSoil#ConsciousPlanet

When the radish crops are harvested, the radish and roots leave large, open pores in the soil. This increases soil aeration and water infiltration. Along with this comes more earthworm and microbial activity.
It’s clear that a tillage radish cover crop certainly lives up to that name. As it turns out, the simple radish can be quite a complex tool when properly utilized.

We should have reclaimed the name ‘Bharat’ when the British left our shores. A name will not do everything but it is important the country is named in a way that reverberates in everyone’s heart. Even though the Nation means everything to us, the word ‘India’ has no meaning. If we are unable or unwilling to change the name of the Nation officially, it is time we at least bring ‘Bharat’ into our daily parlance. Younger generations must know that Bharat existed long before India was born. Congratulations @ncert. -Sg
