For PSP-1000 digital video modification I am making:

It will require soldering two areas. One is easy for the left joystick but the other is very hard for the digital audio.

You will need to remove the 100K resistor pack to GND in order to solder for the i2s audio. The QFN chip makes this very difficult.

For installers this will be some of the most difficult soldering you will ever do. The resistor is a 0402 type 4 pack and this is very small. One lifted or fucked up trace on pcb and you lose the ability to have ANY audio on the PSP.
