Everyone depends on the USPS. Seniors for their Social Security, veterans for their prescriptions, small businesses trying to keep their doors open. They can't be collateral damage for an administration more concerned with suppressing the vote than suppressing a virus.

No, students don’t need to repeat a grade.
No, students don’t need to attend summer school.
No, teachers don’t need to cram 3 months of school into next year.
There will be gaps. There were gaps before the pandemic. Old school ways won’t close gaps.
Change the narrative.
Today the Boston Globe editorial board wrote: “the president has blood on his hands.” That’s the terrible truth, but almost as awful is how many Americans are in denial about that reality and are complicit in his rewriting of history.
Districts, please make sure you have realistic expectations for teachers & parents right now. They are all doing amazing under these conditions, but Unrealistic expectations puts too much pressure to perform & guilt if they don’t meet them. No one needs that unnecessary stress.
