冬のシドニーの朝６時。まだ真っ暗。でも私はこの時間が好き。明けない朝はないから。今朝の血糖値はまぁまぁ。脚の痛みが少し。数日前の嵐のようなめまいはなし。明日は医者の指示で脳のスキャン。心配？人生どこ吹く風。治郎丸さんの片目の馬から、８０歳近くの私も生きる勇気を貰っている

日本ダービーを観て興奮していたら、ウチの元管理馬サクソンブレイブ（父サクソンウォリアー）の近況写真が送られてきた。

オーストラリアンダービー出走予定だったものの、当日にフレグモーネで無念の取消し。あれからしばらく経つけど、ダービーデーにこの写真はタイミング的にエモい🥹

引退後も大切に可愛がってもらっているのが伝わってくるし、元気そうで何より☺️
