First meeting of EMSWe HLSG’ Interface Thematic Team was held today @EU_Commission, tasked with defining the harmonised services for Member States’ National Maritime Single Windows, to facilitate a once only approach on reporting obligations for port calls within EU

Good progress achieved until now, I.e at mid term of this workgroup week, adding additional support to the IMO compendium’ data set and reference model, to enable e.g. digitalisation of the Maritime Health Declaration form and elements to support ‘Just in Time Arrival’ services

Feel privileged today attending the Expert Group on Data Harmonisation (EGDH) meeting #1 at #IMO tasked by the #IMOFAL committee to expand the IMO FAL Compendium’ dataset & reference model with additional digital data based reporting req beyond the FAL Convention

Fifth and final day at @IALAISM ARM11 Committee meeting, where the three Work Groups are due to report output on their task lists in Planary; an extended attendee list has worked intensively over the week; among several outputs to note, is the S-201 standard on AtoN data exchange

Interesting days so far, attending IALA’ Workshop on Ranging Mode (R-Mode), with fruitful discussions on defining R-Mode req for implementation with VDES, roadmap for standardisation and implementation of R-Mode on MF and VHF transmissions, acting as a backup service to GNSS
