Not an important person, but I (try to) love God and those around me.

@lilmovieperp Mind DM’ing the advice? 😅

[Micaiah Lowe @MicaiahLowe]

@xzn93 @Foyege24 Do you not mind providing handles or links?

This and your previous “Invite to the Yule Ball” comic originally inspired me to start a story. AND I’ve become a real fan of your work!

Since then the story has grown into something completely its own. The plot, the characters’ journeys, and the outcomes have all diverged significantly from the original books. I already have handwritten outlines for the future books and hope to have a rewritten Goblet of Fire in final draft form in the coming months. I just wanted to thank you for that initial inspiration.

P.S. I kept a few specific visual elements from these scenes as a homage to your comic and the spark it gave me to start this project.

@schmede_AI @LeosTake26 Me bookmarking everything Malfoy

Love the series, you’re doing great work!

As a writer just getting into creating AI scenes and caught up in this fun, open style of fan art, would you be open to sharing your process from start to finish? Idea to storyboarding/scripting, the tools and software you use, prompting and consistency, editing, and final video assembly? If you’d rather DM that I totally understand.

[Micaiah Lowe @MicaiahLowe]

@shadmbrooks @Image1 Do you make your scores in another model, your videos in seedance, and then put the tracks together with an editing software?

The books were always strong on the journey (the reveals, twists, relationships along the way), but it never really offered an ending of hope. It always left me with the feeling of “that’s it?”

Malfoid/Fem Malfoy rewrites open the door to something the books largely withheld (or tiptoed around): enemies becoming lovers, betrayal of a close friend, forgiveness extended to an enemy, and hope that reaches beyond death. Those have always been the most powerful elements in storytelling, and they still are.

[Micaiah Lowe @MicaiahLowe]

Well said. The whole superintelligence shift in storytelling comes down to one thing: may the best story win.

For the first time in history, someone in the Midwest with a strong idea can compete with the billions Hollywood spends. That kind of competition is exactly what the industry needs. It forces better work, or it gets left behind.

[Micaiah Lowe @MicaiahLowe]

@nevershoutari His eyes looked left, then back again.
“Fine.”

[Micaiah Lowe @MicaiahLowe]

Someone who gets it! Harry and Dracaena are worlds apart, which makes their enemies-to-lovers arc so much more complicated. It leaves the future uncertain (their choices will impact the overall story, who lives and dies, and how events unfold). It’s more than a simple rewrite.

@aerismanifests Just found out how it’s pronounced and I like it even more!

Give me till Thanksgiving and I should have a manuscript finished (complete rewrite of Goblet of Fire).

[Micaiah Lowe @MicaiahLowe]

Rowling should seriously consider doing a rewrite where Malfoy is a girl named “Malfoid.”

Imagine Malfoid inviting Harry to the Yule Ball. She’s always felt this inexplicable pull toward him, but her family’s expectations and loyalty to Slytherin force her to bury those feelings beneath insults and cruelty. Harry naturally grows to resent her, never realizing that beneath it all, she’s secretly in love with him.

When she finally works up the courage to ask him to the ball, he turns her down. But something makes him reconsider, and he reluctantly accepts. What begins as an act of pity becomes the moment Harry realizes he has feelings for her, too. Perhaps he always has.

Then everything falls apart at the end of the Goblet of Fire.

Cedric, Harry, and Malfoid end up in the graveyard together. When Voldemort appears, Malfoid looks desperately to Harry, torn between the boy she loves and the family she fears. But when confronted with the choice, her fear wins. She goes to her father, kneels before Voldemort, and kisses his ring.

Harry watches Cedric die right in front of him. He returns to Hogwarts claiming not only that Voldemort has returned, but that Malfoid has joined the Death Eaters. Of course, almost no one believes him, apart from Dumbledore and those closest to him.

Then, in the Half-Blood Prince, Voldemort orders Malfoid to kill Dumbledore. Having already betrayed Harry in the graveyard, she begins to spiral. Torn between family, fear, and love, she ultimately obeys; betraying Harry (yet again) and destroying the one thing in her life that was truly her own, unrequited love. Harry, blinded by his hatred of Voldemort and unaware of the tares within her soul, comes to loathe Malfoid.

And then, in the final confrontation, it’s her mother, Narcissa, the same woman who spent years looking down on Harry for being a half-blood and associating with Muggle-borns, who kneels beside his lifeless body in the Forbidden Forest.

She discovers he’s alive. And knowing how much he means to her daughter, she lies to Voldemort. Before standing, she leans close to Harry and whispers: “Save her.”

Harry eventually discovers the truth about Malfoid: the sacrifices she made (maybe she revealed the secret passage that smuggled students into Hogwarts?), the fear she lived under, and the impossible choices she faced. What began as childhood rivalry grew into attraction, collapsed into betrayal, and, in the end, finds redemption in love.

Also, the Ginny romance always felt a little forced. Harry ending up with the girl he spent half his life hating, is such a crazy twist and is a completely different story.

If you like this please follow them, as it would not possible otherwise, I'm not able to come up with as good of stories.

JP captions are enabled on the video. I have Korean subtitles available on Youtube as well, X doesn't let me attach more than one .srt.

Disclosure: I am a creative partner with @ViduAI_official
It's thanks to their support that I've been able to make the Malfoid videos without having to ask for money.

I KNOW (ruined everything) 😂

“Dracaena” is actually a plant name that means “female dragon,” which is what drew me to it. Maybe she goes by Dracaena as her full first name, Malfoy stays the derogatory name Harry uses, and then during their first non-aggressive (near-romantic) encounter she casually mentions that her mom calls her Drake. Which eventually becomes the endearing nickname he uses during their romantic episode, pre-betrayal at the graveyard?

[Micaiah Lowe @MicaiahLowe]

@aerismanifests What do you think about “Dracaena Malfoy”?

[Micaiah Lowe @MicaiahLowe]

@aerismanifests I like those alternatives, it would probably be best to keep the surname but use an alternative first name; I’m just using the trend name. There’s already a Reddit community called “Malfoid” lol.
