@apilayer since the 31th of Jan at 4AM UTC the Exchange Rates Data API returns error 403 to all of our calls with message "You cannot consume this service" despite providing a valid (Starter Plan) API key. Tried contacting you on the website but it's in "planned maintenance".
@coinbase worst support ever. You cannot verify my personal ID (nothing wrong with it). You keep me in chat for two hours under the menace that if I get away from the screen for more than 7 minutes I'll need to start again and I still cant withdraw my own money. Never again.
WE HAVE TAKEN OVER LONDON
You might have already spotted us in tube stations, on the tube, on buses, or on bus stops. Yes we’re officially everywhere, we’ve taken over the capital to run one of our biggest OOH campaigns (like ever)
I worked on this at Twitter in 2015. IIRC we tested it and most people didn't get any views and we had to have some thresholds before showing it as "0 views" was depressing
We also wanted to be accurate and not count if someone quickly scrolls past your tweet in their TL
Pro tip: use clickbait commit messages to get your teammates to review your code faster
git commit -m “First she noticed a bug in production. What happens next will SHOCK you!”
"There was a problem. Try later [gibberish-error-code]". You can afford this kind of errors on the onboarding procedure of your web app if - A. You have a really great, near real time, support - B. You are facebook/google.
Monad and immutable types but also "Make invalid states impossible to represent". A great introduction to functional programming in TS by @ThiagoTemple: https://t.co/A1AWUgGWpn
