Who remembers when Trudeau told Germany and Japan that there’s no business case for exporting LNG to them? Meanwhile, Donald Trump signed a deal for $1 trillion with Japan to do exactly this.

The difference, Canada can get it there quicker. We still have the advantage and it’s not too late.

A recent study by the Fraser Institute revealed that exporting Canadian LNG could play a major role in cutting global carbon emissions. By helping countries like China switch from coal to cleaner-burning natural gas, Canada could offset more emissions abroad than it produces at home effectively making us “net zero” through the global impact of our energy exports.

This is a massive win.
