️🏆EXPOSING THE TRUTH OF LEDGER

@chainlink posting ledger in 4 different stages makes me think back to the history of people and finance.

Are we being fooled since we get to stage "online'?

Before paper money existed, all financial records represented real things people owned or owed.

For example, if someone owed a certain amount, it meant they had to give that specific thing to the person they owed in the future. So, how could you make a record of what you owe valuable if it wasn't linked to something real?

The key is understanding why things have value in the first place:

1/ They are something people want or can use (an economic good).

2/ They help people avoid something they don't want (an economic bad).

When you could exchange paper money for gold, it had value because it was connected to something valuable (the first reason). But there's another way to give value to paper money, and that's by using it to pay taxes. This is explained in the quote from Adam Smith mentioned:

To put it simply, being in jail is a bad thing, and governments have jails to punish people who don't pay their taxes. To make digital money valuable, the government created a plan:

1/ The government has a special bank called the central bank, where it has accounts.

2/ This central bank creates paper money that can be exchanged for digital money at the same value.

3/ The central bank doesn't have to exchange its digital money for anything real.

4/ The government only accepts taxes paid with this digital money or the paper money it created.

This system gives value to digital money even though you can't exchange it for anything tangible.

I think what $LINK meant is giving back people the power to have their assets back, and not relying on the influence of paper money

Just the same way #Elon did to #DonaldTrump by giving back the power to speak freely
