Becoming 1% better per day is 37 times better per year.
Saving ₦2,000 per day is ₦730,000 per year.
Posting one piece of content daily is 365 chances to go viral per year.
Reading 20 pages per day is 30 books per year.
Practicing your craft 30 minutes daily is 182 hours of mastery per year.
Small habits are underestimated.
I’m looking for people who are ready to lock in with zero distractions for the next 3 months.
Let’s commit to this roadmap and actually follow through.
Forget the AI noise for now. Focus on becoming solid in backend engineering and system design.
It might sound unrealistic, but you’ll be surprised at how much you grow by the end of June / early July.

LIES YOU SHOULD NOT TELL YOURSELF
1. WHAT IS MINE WILL ALWAYS FIND ME: Who told you that? Abeg get up and go get it...Fortune favours the Brave!
2. THIS IS WHO I AM, I CANNOT CHANGE: No Sir/Ma, Times are changing , your adaptability to changing Seasons will always put you ahead of others. Did you hear a Wise man when he said- Madness is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result.
3. I DON’T NEED ANYONE, I CAN MAKE IT ON MY OWN: No matter how disappointed you are with people, you must need someone at some point to help you navigate through life’s hurdles. God Ordained Relationships are answered Prayers.
4. MY CHARACTER DOES NOT MATTER, I CAN MAKE IT REGARDLESS: Some habits are blessing blockers. Be Careful!
5. I AM TIRED MEANS I SHOULD GIVE UP: This Week, you might get exhausted mentally, physically etc. issues might stress and attempt to drain you. It’s okay to be tired....REST and hit the road again...NO GIVE UP MENTALITY here!
6. I AM WHAT I DO : Overtime , you probably may have disappointed yourself with your actions but always remember- YOU ARE NOT WHAT YOU DO. Your Identity is who God says You are not what you’ve done.
7. I STILL HAVE TIME: You’ve got no time to waste time. Every time you are lazy, someone is working real hard. Every new day brings you closer to your next birthday- I don’t think you have as much time as you say you have. FACE YOUR FRONT. BE ALL IN with your Purpose and MIND YOUR BUSINESS!!!
Hope this made a little sense...

Don't overthink architecture, most applications can be divided into these major layers:
1. Presentation Layer: This is whatever the user or another system touches directly. Could be a web UI, a mobile app, a CLI, or even just an API surface
2. Application Layer: This is where the coordination happens. It organizes what happens in response to a request, it calls the right services in the right order, but doesn't contain business rules itself.
3. Domain/Business Logic Layer: The heart of your application. This is where the rules that make your product your product live.
4. Data Layer: Databases, caches, file storage, third-party APIs, message queues....anything that deals with the outside world. The key insight here is that this layer serves the domain, not the other way around.
There you have it, software architecture in one paragraph.

"If we must fail, let us fail forward."
If you’re a young Nigerian and you feel like you didn’t make progress this year, please read this slowly.
Progress is not always money.
Progress is not always relocation.
Progress is not always a new car, title, or house.
In Nigeria, staying sane is progress.
Choosing not to be bitter is progress.
Learning a skill while the system frustrates you is progress.
Refusing crime when crime looks like the fastest way out is progress.
Progress is waking up every day in a country that keeps moving the goalpost and still choosing hope.
Some of you:
•Supported your family on a small income
•Paid school fees with stress and dignity
•Didn’t give up when your plans collapsed
•Survived inflation, fear, uncertainty, and silence
That is not failure.
That is resilience under extreme pressure.
The world measures success in years.
Nigeria measures it in endurance.
If you’re still standing, still dreaming, still learning, still trying you are not late. You are being forged.
History does not remember those who had it easy.
It remembers those who survived impossible systems and still built greatness.
One day, the same world ignoring you today will call your story “inspiring.”
Keep going.
Web3 roles would take over soon, here are some Web3 Development Career Paths:
➠ Smart Contract Developer (Solidity, Rust, Vyper)
➠ Smart Contract Security Auditor (Slither, Echidna, Foundry tests)
➠ Zero Knowledge (ZK) Developer (Circom, Noir, Halo2, zkSync)
➠ Backend Protocol Engineer (indexing, subgraphs, infra, node ops)
➠ Frontend DApp Developer (React, Wagmi, ethers.js, viem)
➠ Web3 Mobile Developer (React Native, WalletConnect, Expo, Swift Web3)
➠ AI x Blockchain Engineer (AI agents onchain, data proofs, compute markets)
What are you learning today? How can i help?
@ebuka_ajibo Good evening, @ebuka_ajibo.
Sorry for the late reply. I was away for the Piscine (bootcamp) that just ended on Friday. Have you been able to play the game?
I’ve honestly never seen anything like this before.
First of all, Exploit-Forge truly deserves its flowers. It is rare, almost unheard of, to see a security company that genuinely wants developers to write secure code before problems happen.
Think about what that really means. Every secure development awareness piece Amos puts out helps developers and companies learn, reflect, and quietly fix vulnerabilities in their systems. The truth is that most security companies do not want that.
For many organizations in this space, the unspoken incentive is for your code and applications to be as broken as possible, so you get breached, panic, and run to them. Then they come in and uncover a long list of issues that a healthy security culture and proper QA should have caught long ago.
Exploit-Forge took a different stance and said no. It is better for our clients’ systems to be secure, even if that means we find nothing, than to make a business out of reporting basic mistakes that should never have made it to production in the first place.
As for Tech Prophet’s content, I have never seen anyone on this platform who can hold my attention for a 5min plus video the way he does. I watch attentively, laugh at the jokes, and still find myself going back to rewatch the same video.
Both @ExploitforgeLTD and @AmosPikins truly deserve their flowers.
Here’s what I’d advise a newbie to learn in 2026 if they want to be strong long-term.

Backend 2026 roadmap
1. One core backend language deeply (Go / Java / Rust)
2. Linux fundamentals (processes, files, networking)
3. HTTP, REST, and request lifecycles
4. API design (pagination, versioning, idempotency)
5. SQL databases and schema design
6. Indexes, transactions, and isolation levels
7. Caching strategies and cache invalidation
8. Message queues and async processing
9. Concurrency and parallelism
10. Horizontal scaling and load balancing
11. Distributed systems fundamentals
12. Observability (logs, metrics, tracing)
13. Failure handling, retries, and backpressure
14. Docker and basic containerization
15. Production debugging and on-call mindset
Master these and you’ll be useful in any backend team, regardless of trends.
