Not to be vulnerable, but I don’t particularly enjoy living right now but have no choice other than to stay optimistic and keep going because what else can I do

@mosuyanagi All the time! Emulation is just a showing off point giving into nostalgia. I've played GTA, Death Stranding, Halo MCC, Skyrim, Prey, Cyberpunk, Doom Eternal, RE2/3/7/Village, Elden Ring, it goes on!
It's a fantastic "all-rounder". Not a top end powerhouse but it's damn versatile
@FPSthetics I used to throw them into Audacity and mess with pitch, tempo, time-stretching, reverb, bass/treble etc. Was actually pretty fun finding which tracks still sounded somewhat decent
@FPSthetics Agreed. I'm so used to Q+E in R6:S so there it doesn't really phase me, but in most if not all others, Z/C or X/C feels better. Dishonored and Stalker are great that way. Leaning, jumping, melee and prone all on the thumb feels good when you're used to it. Also only E is use
@FPSthetics Pains me to this day. Solid campaign, MP felt like a different vibe of BO3’s (BO3 was great imo so that really wasn’t an issue) and Spaceland is still one of my favourite zombies maps. Not every cod has to just be MW over and over again but I guess the players say otherwise :/
@Jarek_Dragon Never understood this take. Not once has it bothered me to play as a female nor ruined immersion. Some fantastic games have female protags. Wouldn't phase me in vr either, I'm *dying* to play HL Alyx. People are something...
@Tyler_McV One of my first pc titles (if not THE first) was Quake 2 and it sticks with me the most. Didn’t play Half Life until the early 2010’s but definitely adopted “Boomer Shooters” from an early age. Quake 2 is still fun. Enjoyed Q2 RTX some months back too.
@Nades It’s a slow burn but a damn fine one. Love how much the terrain became a full mechanic you have to think about, and not just a floor between A and B. Planning your journey, squeezing in extra deliveries along the way, the atmosphere, the music… 100% an “experience”. Great game.
