6. When I finally reach a @lufthansa representative 8 hours later (after hours trying the phone) it’s admitted that the issues are known and that I should email my complaints as customer service can’t be reached in person.
5. @lufthansa then claim it’s a natural disaster (COVID) that led them to cancel a flight when they still have other flying to the destinations the same day and following days. It’s obvious due to low passenger capacity and nothing else, but they refuse help with accommodations
1. Failing to inform of a cancelled flight.
2. Lie about informing (and later admitting they didn’t).
3. Not having availability for rebooking.
4. When 2 travel agencies cooperate to reach a representative (thank you @bookingcom to go over and beyond) I can finally rebook
I can honestly say that today’s experience with @Lufthansa is at the top 10 worst customer service experiences I’ve had when traveling, and will be a story I’ll most certainly will keep sharing over the years.
So @lufthansa now claim that cancelled flights are due to force major and hence they don’t need to give accommodations when they cancel a flight, even if there are no border restrictions and they have other flights to the destination. @Aftonbladet is this correct from them?
Calling @lufthansa customer service lines and either get a busy signal or out on hold for over 30 min. Got my return flight cancelled without notification and at the airport no one can help, and customer service unavailable. The “new normal” German efficiency?
@lufthansa your customer service is not answering in Sweden or Denmark. Are you guy ok? You cancelled my return flight without informing me and at the airport no one can help. What should i do?!?!
I’m curious @LoveLiman and @rafaelalindeber do you feel this is fair and informed reporting? I assume you follow the brefinigs? https://t.co/nhcoj1TfcF
I actually didn’t know that more than half of all Swedish homes are made up of one resident, the highest proportion in Europe, so learned something.
Some perspective to help answering the question about why Sweden act so different from the rest of Europe. https://t.co/E53skJyx1S

Was just sent by @orange in Barcelona to @Vodafone as it was easier to switch operator than to port my company number to me personally. Amazing customer service and great business for Vodafone. How can this be the case 2020?
@mikebutcher@magicmagnus A majority of Portuguese people :)
Jokes asides, I think that Pragmatism in difficult times, not getting entrenched in ideological opinions, but focus on what science and facts says works is the way. Unfortunately that seems to be a rare quality in a democracy these days.
@magicmagnus@mikebutcher investments in the welfare state allowed for the people to maintain confidence in the state, but attracting rich foreigners and businesses has delivered growth. I think that playing both trad left and right (pragmatism) has worked and avoiding polarizing ideology stands healthy.
