@justintarte Yes and no. A student struggling with reading is probably not harming others. A student with behavior issues may cause harm to other students. Proper funding and support personal to help the child is a must-not just leaving it up to the teacher.

@LizDk With so many districts watching the results of assessments like MAP, students guessing is a serious issue. Since many principals and district admins judge the quality of classroom teaching from these tests, it is nice to discern which student is not trying.

@southards10 @Flipgrid Flipgrid also allows a good way to assess a students oral language skills. Often in a classroom, it is hard to hear the nuance of what the student said. Flipgrid gives you a library of student responses. You can listen to a child's response later without distraction.
