#ACOs : "#Bill124 is slowing killing us. Losing staff almost weekly to higher paying PD and FD depts. We deserve better! Doing more with less. Something has to give. Hopefully it’s not our health. Who does 911 call when they are in crisis?"

.@FordNation is asking burned out nurses to "volunteer" vs being paid like doctors at up to $220 per hour. This is further disrespect for a female-dominated profession. Yet another classic example of the disrespect shown to RNs and why they are leaving. TIME FOR CHANGE! #onpoli
@abbigailhannah @cityofnorthbay Good for you and shame on the anti vaxers. You did the right thing for your child and humanity. These idiots that protest are just that.....idiots
By speaking out for our paramedics , we’re also protecting the people that need their support.

We ask all our paramedics not to participate This is an insidious attempt at privatization Adequately funded Paramedic services r more than capable of meeting the needs of their communities Funding for the public administration not private
@StephenColley18@TheSpec Restaurants and eating out are not the problem. In fact they are probably safer than anywhere else you are going...Costco, Walmart, LCBO, grocery stores etc
Today on National Peacekeepers’ Day, we join Canadians in expressing our deepest gratitude to Canadian peacekeepers, past and present, for their service and commitment toward building a safer world. https://t.co/dvpAXusbUL

@ex42cdo So sorry for your loss Peter. I never served in the Military god bless and thank you all that did but if its anything like a Paramedic family then I can a little bit understand the loss. Family for life RIP Davy

We know that it is difficult times for many in our communities. We also know there is increase risk and rise of domestic violence due to #COVIDー19 . Halton Paramedics raised $2,500 in support of @HaltonWomensPl and the crucial work they are doing. Thank you for all you do!
On this #DayOfMourning let us we remember those who have been killed or seriously injured in the workplace and that not all injuries are visible. Sometimes a piece of us slowly dies on the the inside, where we die on the outside, as a cumulative result of our workplace exposures.
How terribly disappointing and downright disgusting to be accused of using the current pandemic to build an “empire” We don’t know of one single paramedic that would think along these lines during these times. There are no politics attached to our duty to care for our public.
