A huge thanks to @R1_Rovers coming to the rescue at short notice to ensure Monday’s friendly goes ahead.

A different looking squad, with a couple more trialists involved will be trying to impress. Thursday’s squad all put in a shift and set the standards for the rest.

£4 entry for everyone. U16s free with a full paying adult as always.

𝐀 𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐃𝐀𝐘 🤎

Yesterday was a huge, huge success.

Close to 200 showed up for two of our most capped players and 36 individuals took part to grace the turf once more for those guys.

It was fantastic to see all those who have contributed to the successes of the club to date, right back to 2015 and the West Yorkshire Prem days.

The football itself had some great bits of quality, and some not so much..

Bojang took the bragging rights with a 4-2 victory, with all three brothers getting on the scoresheet and Jonno capping it all off at the end.

The opening of the new pitchside bar was a massive, massive success as well. To everyone who graces Horbury with their presence at any game from now, good news - you can get your beers within seconds and not have to walk half a mile..

A great amount raised towards the 26/27 budget for the club which is brilliant too. The more we can raise exposure of Horbury Town one way or the other, the better the club will be for it. More improvements on and off the pitch for sure.

Once again, a huge thanks to everyone who made yesterday exactly what we hoped it would be.

Can’t wait for the next one.. 👀

The club are on the lookout for a social media content creator to jump on board and support myself @JordanRipley (talking in first person lol) as we look to improve our image on all platforms for the new season.

This role is a volunteer role (which probably puts off a lot of people) but is a very rewarding one, speaking from experience.

A great opportunity for a student looking to gain experience in the social media/ marketing world and looking to put their talents out their to thousand of followers across all platforms.

If you are interested and would like further information on exactly what in entails, then get in touch. Being a good graphic creator is a must. None of this chat GPT/ AI stuff - we’re better than that.

@theadelites Plus the last 2 seasons we attended at least 70% of home games & went to Wembley for the play off final. Really disappointing how the club have dealt with it this time around

@theadelites My family have been to 7 games this season & have tickets for upcoming Burnley & Wolves games. We’d have been to more but missed out due to demand. Even with 9 games in the bag we couldn’t enter yesterday’s ballot, so are up against it in tomorrows ballot against lots of newbies
