Imagine the global public outcry if Ukraine mass slaughtered Russian civilians in Moscow, even once, let alone regularly as Russians do in Ukraine throughout this 12 years.

Sadly, Ukraine may be forced to do this one day to stop the war.

Our warriors began Ukraine’s Constitution Day with great accuracy. Last night, our long-range sanctions reached two oil refineries in Russia. The Slavyansk oil refinery in the Krasnodar region was hit – about 300 kilometers from the frontline. We also reached a refinery in the Yaroslavl region, approximately 700 kilometers from our border.

We continue our operations that weaken Russia’s ability to wage this war. Each of our long-range sanctions means fewer resources serving Russia’s war machine, and another step toward peace. HODGES: Crimea is in deep trouble right now. And the West should not start pressing Ukraine, "Hey, take it easy."

Because Ukrainians are getting closer to possibility of total isolation of Crimean peninsula, making all Russian assets there untenable.

The West also has an opportunity to really severely wreck Russia's oil and gas industry, and their export of it.

All of that would have significant effect on Russian side, Ukrainian side, and also how the rest of us view this conflict.

So, don't take your foot off the pedal. Now is the time that the West should be pressing the gas pedal to the floor.

This strike on the Lavra is an attack on the Christian community and on the cultural heritage of humanity. There can be no justification for this or for any other similar Russian attacks. What is needed is more cooperation to stop Russia’s war and stronger protection to save lives from Russia.
