No snark or annoying irony; clear good and bad; redemption and adventure; love and duty. All clearly delineated and lots of fun!

When I teach algorithms, I teach how to prove correctness, and termination is one part of correctness. It appears that it is "obvious" to show that an algorithm terminates (or doesn't). Collatz conj is a nice example that it is hard to prove termination - or even impossible sometimes.
