@TruthJustis4USA @BasedMikeLee Learn what DEI means. It is not affirmative action. DEI is an effort to reach out to minorities to be sure a less qualified white guy doesn't get the job because the more qualified minority didn't know to apply. It does not encourage hiring the less qualified candidate.

@JamesTate121 Well, DUH. It was right after Trump’s bungling of the pandemic. Businesses were temporarily (some, permanently) shuttered. We were all staying home, our kids were learning remotely, so even gas stations didn’t need the help they once did.

And yes, it is a system with the goal of limiting votes by a disfavored group and is suppression. Why else are they doing it? Much less longer lines at polls, and regular voter purges (renters move more)

@metalheadcp @HuntersOfNazis Small point, but the USA did not "give" Iran $1.7 billion. The Gov't released Iran's money that was in bank accounts that the US froze. It was delivered as cash, because sanctions prevented banks from handling the transaction.

@Sabiha1278 Republicans and Ken Starr spent over $70,000,000 investigating the Clintons and ended up with catching Bill getting a BJ. Sounds like every voter fraud investigation by Republicans in the US, a lot of noise until the commission is forgotten because there is no there there.

@JimHendley4NC Unfortunately, Trump is draining money from other National Parks to fund his DC projects. Great if you live near DC, not so much if you favor other parks. Lets just agree that all parks should be funded better so they don't fall into disrepair.

@jsmith32514 @SteveLovesAmmo The South has never been exactly big on freedom. Pre-civil war it was mostly an oligarchic system with the plantation owners running everything, and after the war, it was Jim Crow voter suppression affecting both the black population and the poor white population.
