Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth just landed in Hawaii and was asked about the Yemen Signal group chat.

His response was to attack The Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg, whom Trump has long despised.

He refers to Goldberg as a “deceitful and highly discredited, so-called journalist,” and then says he’d be delighted to talk about the campaign against Ansar Allah (the Houthis).

Hegseth also claims that no war plans were shared in the Signal group chat; Goldberg reported that plans were shared in that chat.
